As an internal factor linked to the driver, it directly influences reaction time, which is the period between perceiving a danger and initiating the braking action.On the other hand, braking distance depends exclusively on physical and mechanical factors, such as vehicle speed, the condition of the brakes and tires, road grip, and atmospheric conditions. Since the driver's emotional state does not alter these physical variables of the vehicle or the road, it has no direct influence on braking distance.
