Who are the vulnerable road users?

According to road legislation, vulnerable users are pedestrians and cyclists, with special emphasis on children, the elderly, pregnant women, people with reduced mobility, or people with disabilities. These road users have greater physical fragility and less protection in the event of an accident, requiring motor vehicle drivers to pay extra attention and care. The remaining options are incorrect because not all road users are considered vulnerable, as motor vehicle drivers have the protection of the vehicle's structure itself. Additionally, limiting the definition only to pedestrians and cyclists generically disregards the explicit mention of increased risk groups that need particular protection.
