The reverse maneuver is an auxiliary maneuver that must be performed with special care, slowly, and only when it does not pose a danger to other road users. If there are children immediately behind the vehicle, in the driver's blind spot, performing this maneuver is extremely dangerous and, therefore, prohibited. The U-turn maneuver is not the maneuver directly prevented by the presence of children at the rear of the vehicle, as it is essentially performed by moving forward, unless it requires emergency maneuvers. The immediate and direct danger of being run over lies in the vehicle moving backward.
