Driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level equal to or greater than 0.8 g/l and less than 1.2 g/l is legally classified as a very serious offense. As the value of 0.9 g/l falls within this range, the driver commits a very serious offense.The offense is not considered serious because that classification only applies to blood alcohol levels equal to or greater than 0.5 g/l and less than 0.8 g/l. It is also incorrect to state that it does not constitute an offense, as driving with a level equal to or greater than 0.5 g/l is prohibited and punishable by law.
