In this situation, the police vehicle is approaching from the left of my vehicle at an intersection. According to the general rules of priority, drivers must yield the right of way to vehicles approaching from the right. Since my vehicle is to the right of the police vehicle, the latter must yield the right of way. My vehicle does not have to yield the right of way because it has priority as it is approaching from the right. The speed of vehicles is also not a criterion that defines the right of way in this situation.
