In tunnels, it is expressly forbidden to make a U-turn, as well as to stop, park, or reverse, due to the high safety risks and reduced visibility characteristic of these infrastructures. This prohibition applies absolutely in any tunnel. Overtaking, on the other hand, is not entirely prohibited in all tunnels. It is permitted provided that the carriageway has two or more lanes of traffic in the same direction and the maneuver does not require entering the opposing lane. For this reason, options that include a general prohibition on overtaking are incorrect.
