In narrow passages where the crossing of two vehicles cannot be done safely and in the absence of vertical signage regulating priority, the general rule states that the driver of the vehicle that arrives last at the narrowing must give way. The driver who arrives first has priority of passage, so it is not their responsibility to give way. In turn, although the ambulance is not signaling an emergency drive and therefore complies with general rules, the duty to give way at this location strictly depends on the order of arrival and not on the nature of the vehicle.
