Motorcycles are two-wheeled vehicles with reduced dimensions, which makes them less visible to other road users. The obligation to permanently drive with dipped headlights on, even during the day, aims to increase their visibility to other drivers, effectively signaling their presence on the road and preventing collisions. The use of these lights during the day does not primarily aim to improve the motorcycle rider's own visibility of the road, but rather to allow others to see them. Additionally, the use of lights does not eliminate or avoid the blind spots of other vehicles, which depend on the positioning and correct adjustment of rearview mirrors.
