This signage is commonly used in road works situations to ensure the safety of users and workers, clearly guiding traffic flow. These devices are not intended to replace law enforcement officers in their inspection duties, nor are they generally applied solely due to heavy traffic situations, as their primary function is the physical and visual marking of temporary changes in the road layout.
